Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey
Providing people with a place to call home is central to what we do at Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey. LSMNJ is one of the state’s largest providers of affordable housing with six communities across the state of New Jersey providing affordable senior housing and independent living to those who meet age and income requirements. All properties are conveniently located near public transportation, places to worship, and shopping. Many offer on-site daily activities and several offer rental subsidies to assist with rental payments.
Mt. Olive Manor and Mt. Olive Manor II offer 110 subsidized apartment rental units for low and moderate incomes for seniors aged 62 or older in Flanders. Mt. Olive provides service coordination, a spacious community room, and laundry facilities. Funded largely through the Section 202 Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program, Manor II is a 3-story building comprised of 50 affordable apartment units designated for senior citizens aged 62 and older with qualifying incomes.
Lutheran Senior Residence at Pennsauken
Lutheran Senior Residence at Pennsauken offers 70 one-bedroom apartments developed exclusively for seniors. Residents must be at least 62 years of age and meet program eligibility requirements.
