Diocesan Housing Services
DHSC was established with the mission of providing quality affordable housing for low and moderate-income households in New Jersey’s six southern counties. DHSC operates a portfolio of more than 700 apartment units with a special emphasis on serving senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Benedicts Place
Benedict’s Place is a 73-unit affordable senior apartment building located in the heart of the beautiful St. Mary’s campus in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Opened in 2013, Benedict’s Place serves individuals who are 62 or older. All the apartments at Benedict’s Place are one-bedroom units. The building also provides several community spaces for the residents to enjoy time together, including rocking chairs and picnic tables along the front porch and a gazebo where residents can relax and enjoy the beautiful landscaping.
Haven House
Haven House at St. John of God is a 75-unit affordable senior apartment building located on the beautiful St. John of God parish campus in North Cape May, New Jersey. Opened in 2008, Haven House serves individuals who are 62 or older. All the apartments at Haven House are one-bedroom units. The building also provides several community spaces for the residents to enjoy time together, including park bench seating on the front porch and a gazebo where residents can relax and enjoy the landscaping and community garden.
Stonegate at St. Stephens 1
Stonegate at St. Stephen is a 75-unit affordable senior apartment building located just off Route 38 in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Opened in 2008, Stonegate at St. Stephen serves individuals who are 62 or older. All the apartments at Stonegate at St. Stephen are one-bedroom units. The building also provides several community spaces for the residents to enjoy time together, including a shaded rear patio with chairs and picnic tables, a large front porch with ample seating, and a gazebo.
Stonegate at St. Stephens 2
Stonegate at St. Stephen – Phase II is a 68-unit affordable senior apartment building located just off Route 38 in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Opening in February 2020, Stonegate at St. Stephen – Phase II serves individuals who are 55 or older. The building also provides several community spaces for the residents to enjoy time together, including a raised patio off the community room with chairs and tables, a large front porch with ample seating, and a second-floor deck and the first floor features a large multipurpose community room with an attached kitchen.
Village at St. Peters
Village at St. Peter’s is a 76-unit affordable senior apartment building located in the center of downtown Pleasantville. Opened in 2013, Village at St. Peter’s serves individuals who are 62 or older. All the apartments at St. Peter’s are one-bedroom units. The building also provides several community spaces for the residents to enjoy time together, including park bench seating at the rear entry and a trellised side porch and the first floor features a large multipurpose room with an attached kitchen.
